What the A Register is About
The Register is about having fun, especially in your MGA and as such is that part of the MG Car Club that caters for owners, drivers and admirers of the MGA. In pursuit of that objective, of having fun, each year the Register organizes a range of activities which are included in the Calendar of events.

The highlight of the Register year is the annual Autumn Rally, a two day gently competitive event where the emphasize is more on having fun and enjoying yourself rather than amassing lots of points. Having said that, there is a fine winner's trophy, place getters also receive a trophy and there is an award to the best finishing MGA.

In addition, picnic runs, social evenings and technical events are organized throughout the year. Although advertised as "MGA events" members of all registers are welcome to attend no matter what car they drive, whether it be a pre-war car or the latest MGF or any model in between. Conversely, Register members participate in events organized by other registers and there is a keen element that takes part in club competition events.

The Register is administered by a committee of about ten members who meet every second month with elections held in December.
We are always looking for keen MGA people to assist with ideas and help run events. New members find this a great way to get to know others in the register and the club.
